Vivienne Blouin

PLAYWRIGHT

Vivienne Blouin is an NYC-based playwright, director, and educator originally from the DC area. She will graduate in May of 2024 from Fordham University with a double BA in Theatre with a playwriting concentration and Digital Technologies and Emerging Media. She is a Teach for America Ignite Fellow and 2024 Corps member. 

Vivi is passionate about creating daring feminist work, highlighting intersectional issues, embracing femininity in all its forms, and exploring past and present issues to inspire the women of tomorrow to feel secure in their most authentic, messy selves. She seeks to delve into the unsung crevices of womanhood, no matter the discomfort the journey may bring. Her works include My Sweetest Baby Angel Princess, When Birds Don’t Fly, BURN BABY BURN, and her upcoming play, Hysterical Housewife Science. When not writing or seeing theater, she loves to read, hike, and crochet.
