VALÉRIA FERNANDEZ

ACTOR

Valeria Fernandez is a Venezuelan actor and musician based in New York City. As a musician, she is a vocalist and violinist with performance experience in classical symphonies, chamber ensembles, salsa and jazz bands, opera, and musical theater productions. As an actor, she pursues her deep passion for classical and contemporary theater through bold and imaginative productions, such as her performance in the recent Tango-Opera rendition of Orfeo ed Euridice by Christoph Gluck: Euridice, Una Sombra (Coro), as presented by Americas Society at La MaMa Experimental Theatre Club (Summer 2025). She has also frequently reprised the role of Street Musician in Yaya Theater Company’s musical Little Match Girl, presented at Theater Row (Summer/Fall 2023) and Theater 555 (Summer 2024). She is currently assistant directing and composing for the upcoming Fordham Mainstage production of Sarah Ruhl’s Eurydice, directed by Dawn Saito.

Recent performance credits include Savage in Limbo (Linda), Natasha, Pierre & the Great Comet of 1812 (Pit Violinist), The Threepenny Opera (Jenny), and The House of Bernarda Alba (Bernarda).
