TERI SALMON

Teri Salmon is a NYC based Costume Technician, Designer and Wardrobe-person. They began their journey with clothes and costumes at a very young age, they loved playing dress up as a kid and now they do the  best version of dress up; Professional dress up, or costume work.  Teri believes that costume design is the best way for them to tell stories because they have always felt and seen that clothes are the way they understand the world and channeling their love of stories and clothes into costume design feels fulfilling. They strive to love what they do and costume design does that for them. They also love Art and Art History and can whip out niche Fashion History knowledge on a dime. One of the things Teri enjoys most about theatre is how much learning they do on every show. Each show brings new challenges or new interesting elements and that excites them. Teri is always open to learning new things that might one day serve a design or simply bridge the gap from person to person. In their free time you can find them strolling through the Metropolitan Museum of Art, reading fantasy books or cooking yummy food.
