Sarah Arata is a bright and graceful performer with a passion for telling stories that explore identity, history, and the emotional truths that connect people. From the West Coast to the East Coast, Sarah is a California native now based in New York. With early training in dance and voice, along with acting studies at Fordham University, she brings a strong expressive and physical foundation to her work. Sarah is inspired by storytelling that highlights AAPI experiences and brings forward voices and perspectives that are often underrepresented. She finds her strength in characters who carry an elegant softness, but hold a profound depth. Her credits at Fordham include: Eurydice, The Medea Thing, and High School Play. Offstage, you can find her at K-pop concerts, watching anime, exploring new cities, and enriching herself in culture wherever she goes.
