Saman Peyman is an actress, devisor, and creative born in Israel with Iranian roots and raised in California. Time to time, Saman finds herself ruminating in the deep and writing poetry then hanging upside down on a tree with a red clown nose (true story). This dance between depth and humor compels Saman the most, and storytelling, along with the active imagination and empathy required of acting, helps her understand the complexities of the human experience. This past summer, Saman’s love for health, fitness and the environment took her to a self-sufficient farm in the mountains of Assisi, Italy for half a month. Saman has trained in clowning and Commedia Dell’arte at Accademia Dell’Arte in Italy and will receive her BA in Theater Performance with a minor in Creative Writing at Fordham University this Spring.
