Melissa Bautista

Melissa Bautista (she/her/siya) is a Filipina actress based in NYC and LA. Her love of acting came from watching and imitating Meryl Streep’s dramatic cliff scene in Mamma Mia! Her time at Fordham University was spent exploring authenticity and vulnerability in both comedy and drama. To her, acting is a beautiful amalgamation of playing, experiencing, and simply breathing. Through her work, she hopes that she can represent the honest, awkward, and scary experience of being human. Outside of the rehearsal room, she can be spotted in Trader Joe’s, buying enough garlic to ward off an army of vampires, or in Central Park, curiously poking at mud with a long stick.
