Kenyon Terrell is an actor based in New York.
He finds joy and love in making theater, whether that be as an actor, social media manager, or set design team member. In fact, he is currently writing this statement during load in for his last show at Fordham. He was helping build the stairs.
Kenyon has a vested interest in freedom. And, by the end of his career he will help foster a space where activism and art intersect. Specifically, he hopes to create a classical theatre company that serves its surrounding neighborhood in endeavors of sustainability and accessibility.
Kenyon chose to be an actor because he has paid witness, as both performer and audience member, to the transformative power of catharsis through play. In his life, catharsis has lead to reflection, which leads to action, which on a grander scale can result in freedom in our time.
When Kenyon is not acting, he keeps himself alive through his writing, reading detective novels, and watching Abbott Elementary with his partner.
