STAGE MANAGER

Jessica is originally from Wisconsin, and also spent a large portion of her childhood in Connecticut.

Attending plays with her grandmother as a young child, she initially became interested in acting— following a successful debut as “Ensemble Orphan” in Annie Jr, she immediately decided she actually needed to be involved with the backstage elements of a production. Much of Jessica’s early theatre education was spent in after-school classes and at summer camps, which fostered her love for interdisciplinary creative efforts. Later returning to the same institutions to work, she enjoyed helping the younger generation find their love for theatre the same way she did.

After weaving her love of sewing and crafts into costume work as a teenager, she decided she wanted to maintain a strong blend between design and the rehearsal room, finding stage management work to be the perfect vantage point from which to see an entire show unfold.

In bringing a design background and interest in theatre education to more administrative roles, she hopes to foster strong communication, empathy, and a culture of respect across all teams for a positive community experience, particularly supporting other young artists making their way in the industry.
