Jason Maina

ACTOR

Jason Maina is a senior actor at Fordham Theatre originating from Louisville, Kentucky. As a student at Fordham Theatre, he has had to opportunity to perform in various productions such as The Nether as Woodnut, The Drag as Clem, AULIS as Menelaus, and Tartuffe as Cleonte. He has also built a community of NYC theater artists and worked in new emerging theatrical works for people of African descent including staged readings of Culture Shock by Gloria Majule at the Powerhouse Theater Festival and There Goes the Neighborhood by Marcus Scott at The Brick Aux Theater in Brooklyn. Jason is also passionate about the impact and outreach of theater on the community and had the opportunity to work with National Black Theatre as an Alternative Learning intern under the direction of Jonathan McCrory and Mandesia Sibiya.
