Emma Durocher (she/her): was born and raised in New Orleans, and is currently based in New York City. She is a double major in Theatre Performance and Spanish Studies. Since she was little she’s loved pretending to be other people, even if it meant telling parents on the playground that her real name was Dorothy from The Wizard of Oz. As an actress, she is passionate about heightened text, Spanish theater, and exploring fantastical worlds. It would be a dream to make audience members feel moved the way she feels moved by listening to Pink Floyd’s The Dark Side of the Moon. Emma is interested in film and theater that forces its audience to think, analyze, and grow. Some of her other interests include reading novels, uncovering new music, watching old cinema, and soaking up nature.
